🐇 Lionhead Rabbit

The Lionhead rabbit is a charming and affectionate breed known for its distinctive mane of fur around the head, resembling a lion’s mane—hence the name. These rabbits are small to medium-sized and have a friendly, curious nature that makes them popular as pets.

Despite their regal appearance, Lionhead rabbits are known for their gentle and playful personalities. They enjoy being handled, though they prefer gentle, calm interactions. They are also quite intelligent and can be litter trained, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor living. With proper care, they can live up to 7–10 years.

Lionhead rabbits need a clean, spacious cage, plenty of hay and fresh vegetables, and daily interaction for mental stimulation. Regular grooming is essential, especially for those with longer fur, to prevent matting and tangling.
